Campsite La Verna in the nature park Parco di Lignano, Casentinobossen in the middle of Tuscany. The camp is near the shrine of Francis of Assisi, the destination of many pilgrims. The whole area around Chiusi della Verna, Arezzo, surrounded with medieval villages, monasteries and Renaissance sites so you can pick up your heart during excursions. The camp has 90 pitches, a swimming pool and a pizzeria. The town of Chiusi della Verna with the Castello dei Conti Catani, is interesting to visit. Next to it is the house of Ludovico Buonarroti, Michelangelo's father. The landscape visible from the Mayor house was and still is, served as inspiration for the murals Creazione di Adamo, on display at the Cappella Sistina in Rome.
